Nicola Roberts. I mention her in this post and I've always really liked her. Her album, Cinderella's Eyes is great to have on whilst I'm bopping round my bedroom. I love her style, whether it's a cliche or not, I don't care. She looked such a babe in next months InStyle and I really enjoyed the interview too. I love her.
Having some serious problems at the moment! First of all is that I’m starting to age! The skin around my eyes is often quite dark, I’m getting fine lines underneath my eyes (likely due to my terrible habit of rubbish them so much) and I’m also getting bags under them in the mornings that look so terrible! I’ve always really looked after my skin, but the time has come, sob, for some form of anti wrinkle cream. This is something I know absolutely nothing about, despite spending hours reading reviews and top 10’s online, I’m going to go to a few counters and ask about a good first anti-ageing cream! I’ll let you know how I get on!

Secondly, horrifyingly enough it’s another complexion problem. I’ve always loved a bit of fake tan, but since Christmas I’ve just given up with the never ending hassle, dirty bed sheets/pyjamas/towels/dressing gowns, the biscuit smell, the expense, everything. I’ve decided to ‘embrace’ my pale skin. Just like Nicola Roberts. ~In her shoot in February’s InStyle, she looks gorgeous, by the way. She’s wearing a nude Chanel lipstick I've fallen for, and have to invest in! I left the mag at home so I can’t tell you the shade. Boo. I’m sorry~

Obviously my new pale complexion needs new foundation! Bourjois 10hour sleep effect usually suits my skin perfectly; it has quite a light coverage and very dewy. But I’m also having further problems via breakouts; for the first time in my life :( I think it’s just the cold weather and central heating, so fingers crossed in a couple of weeks this will be eradicated.

Foundation shopping after uni tomorrow, and I’m going to test out some of the brands I hear good things about from so many beauty blogs.

Perfection Lumiere, £36.
The first one's Chanel's Perfection Lumiere. Everyone uses this, do they not? It has spf10, which I should start taking into consideration now I'm beggining to look so haggard. Alot of reviews have said that it gives them a bit of a cake face, which is never good. I don't generally have bad skin as such, so I don't need that much coverage. Maybe it just didn't suit these girls. I obviously understand that everyone's skin and needs are different, so you can't really just go with what other people think!

Moisture Supreme, £33.
Next up is Laura Mercier's Moisture Supreme. this actuallys boasts about 'softening the appearance of fine lines', which sounds right up my street!

Double Wear, £26.
And finally Estee Lauder Double Wear. Another one I think every female seems to own a bottle of!? Again this contains spf10, they've brought out a Maximum Cover version which is said to cover surgical scars, birthmarks, varicose veins etc. I have none of these ailments and so I think I can definetly rule out Maximum Cover. Although I've not yet tried it, I know this level of coverage isn't something that I need. Also ghostly cake-face is probably the worst. I'm going to have to be careful. As well as this, they too have a Light Cover, which I imagine is perfect for me.
Tomorrow I'm off to get some samples, so I shall let you know the verdict!

My boyfriend has a load of his nerdy friends over to watch wrestling tonight, which airs 1am-4am, and at the minute they're letting off quite a racket, so I can't see me (or my bags :/) being happy bunnies when I'm up for uni at 7.30am!

I thought I'd do a post about a shop/website called Ark, I've only just heard of it myself, so I don't think it's very well known! Anyway they have some really good everyday stuff at such good prices! To be completely honest I can't vouch for its quality, but the store sells well known brands such as Motel and SuperDry, so I really can't imagine it being that terrible! So heres a little pick of some of the things I've got my eye on atm from there!

Glamorous Black Flower Wanda Dress
29.99

Hearts & Bows Leopard Kelly Dress
29.99

Glamorous Stone Davina Dress
24.99
Today I jumped on the bandwagon and bought the Miss Selfridge rip-off of the Topshop fake leather jacket with the deatailed shoulders and detatchable fur around the hood. Except the Miss Selfridge one didn't have the detatchable fur. You all know the one I'm talking about anyway, because the world and his wife have the same one! ATM I'm wearing mostly black, and I think all three of these dresses, especially the first one, would go really well with it, and stop me looking  bit 'goth', which I will end up doing aha!

I don't quite know why I got the faux leather jacket, I think it's just that every girl I see is wearing one, and I usually think, 'ooh, she looks good!'. Im never usually one to latch onto trends that take over the nation, definetly the converse/vans one! I remember getting so much greif for wearing those shoes when I was 14-16, and look at everyone now! I know ~fashion~ comes back round and all of that, but the converse/vans thing really got to me aha! Anyway, I just think nowadays wearing trainers with a nice outfit just ruins it. Why would anybody do it!?

My laziness is making it difficult to make time in my life to blog! I definitely need to sort my time management out! I made a list of all the uni assignments I need to do by April and nearly had a panic attack! 13000 words all in all, so I need to spend more time at my desk!

I’m making me and ‘my man’ steak tonight, first time I’ve ever made it so fingers crossed it goes well! Steak and jacket potato are ‘free’ on Slimming World, but I’m having some difficulty fitting fruit and veg into my diet, which will definitely hinder my weightless, so that’s another thing I need to work on!
I had a ‘relaxing’ day today, I had a sleep in and sat round in my pjs and Aussie conditioner with my friend. Made some phone calls I needed to make and did some laundry ~zzz~.

I ‘discovered’ VIPXO’s blog recently, and she does a regular post where she features EBay rip offs of designer bags, shoes etc. I love it! I think this is a really great idea as it’s not something I’ve seen before, but ill definitely follow it! I have absolutely no qualms with fakes to be honest, not wanting to sound full of myself or anything, but I don’t think anybody I know would think I’d own a fake handbag, so what the hell!?

I’ve got a post planned for tomorrow! I think the key to keep me blogging is to plan what im going to blog about for the week ahead!

Well today's plan of watching New Girl in bed has been thwarted because I've left my laptop at uni, and the videos on sidereal won't work on my iPad! Noooooooo! I want to watch some Gossip Girl. I'm a huge fan I love it, but watching weekly on itv2 is too annoying, I'm waiting until Easter so I can watch season 5 all in one go when I've not got loads of work piling up!

I said I was going to refrain from beauty reviews etc till I'd 'found my feet' on my blog, but, whatever.

I love Soap & Glory, I can always rely on their products to put me in a good mood and, specifically, the Righteous body butter, Girligo moisturising mist, Mist you Madly body spray, Flake Away body scrub, and Clean On Me shower gel I use daily. I got the Glad Hair Day shampoo and Glad Hair Day conditioner for Christmas and I was really looking forward to using them, because I loved the brand so much. They both retail at £5.22, which is averagely more than what I spend on shampoo and conditioner.

Since using them every other day since Christmas, along with Moroccan Oil, my hair has become dry, FULL of split ends and just a general mess. So I give up using them! I'm not ~dissing~ the products, they just don't suit my hair. I think? My hair is naturally dry, frizzy/curly, colour treated, and has suffered a lot of heat damage! I also haven't kept up with my no straightening resolution. It's just too hard!!!!

I am so impatient. It's such a bad quality! I cannot wait for anything. I've been growing my hair for what seems like forever now (after a bright idea involving a very short boys haircut in about 2008...), and I suppose It's getting there.
But I'm bored of it already.
So here's some hair -inspo.

The beautiful Zooey Deschanel. Everyones hair icon, because it looks so damn good! I liked that it looked quite messy here because that's how I tend to wear my hair.

This is probably the legnth of my hair.

My complete and utter fave, Rachel Bilson! Hair wise, this girl can do no wrong, this puts me off getting a fringe. Although she does have one that's quite side swept?

I don't actually have any idea who this is, but I remember finding the image and thinking that the girl's extensions looked really good! I thought the hair extension part of my life had gone, but maybe not!? I suppose I've ditched the fake tan, so a little bit of fakery can do no harm?!

It's my weigh in tomorrow morning, after my first week back on Slimming World, fingers crossed for a loss! I have made a sensible weight loss plan, and by ...I'd like to be at my ~goal weight~ by August. Obviously I'd like to be there alot sooner but i'm not going to starve about it, been there done that when I was wearing my hair extensions!
I origionally wanted to start my blog to be a beauty blog, cause I read beauty blogs everyday, and I love testing out new products, It's what vertually all of my cash goes on! But I think I need to find my feet a little bit first, and also, the products I love and want to talk about have already been spoken about a hundred times before!

Despite the pic, and the background of my blog, Im not a bird lover ...

Im in the (albeit slow) process of re-styling my bedroom at the moment. I've decided to live at home for my last year of university, so I want a nice environment to compensate for it! Anyway I loved the butterfly wall design on Serena Van Der Woodsen from Gossip Girl's bedroom at Blair's house, and decided to find something similar!
I found this on Ebay and I am well getting it! I can't decide on a colour though...
ATM the colour theme is fuschia, but I need another one to match and I just cannot decide. I have white walls and bedroom furniture, with fuschia curtains and a fuschia Laura Ashley toille bedding. Im after a sheepskin rug (don't judge me plz) and a matching cream colour throw, maybe I should leave the second colour?
I suppose black will look good, possibly a grey shade? I'd also like a big chair in there, and unless I come up with a secondary colour, it's going to have to be fuschia again, PINK OVERLOAD. I suppose I have always been a pink girl and I'll be moving out ~properly~ soon, so I should make the most of it!

I should be spending my sacred last few days off glued to my kindle reading Moll Flanders, but I really cannot bring myself to do it. I'm just too busy. Tonight on Emmerdale we find out who battered Cain Dingle, and then after that I'm making my way through the second season of An Idiot Abroad.
